Tom Standford

Tom Stanford supervises music for advertising campaigns across the world, working directly with advertising agencies and brands and placing music in their campaigns, overseeing both the creative and licensing process, often taking campaigns beyond their initial touchpoint.

After working for record labels, management companies and running a festival, he started his career in music supervision at Stream Music (within the TBWA network), before moving onto Platinum Rye in London, finally leaving to set up both Theodore and Wake The Town in 2016. He remains with both companies and he (and they) have now branched out into supervision for TV & Film projects (Doctor Who, Industry, Midas Man, Miss Fallaci, Christmas Eve In Millers Point etc). 

Whilst Tom has now over 18 years experience as a music supervisor, in his private life beyond this, he has run his own record label, managed bands, run club and live nights, DJ’ed all across the UK (including at Glastonbury and Reading Festivals) and still has a burning passion for music.
